NASHVILLE PUBLIC RADIO is selling News WPLN-A/MADISON-NASHVILLE, TN to KENSINGTON DIGITAL MEDIA, LLC for $1.3 million.
In other filings with the FCC, MARTIN BROADCASTING COMPANY is selling Adult Hits WABO-A-F/WAYNESBORO, MS for HEATHCOCK COMMUNICATIONS for $300,000; the buyer has been programming the station via a time brokerage agreement since 2019.
1MIAMI, INC. is transferring low power WMXR-LP (VIBE 92.7)/MIAMI to VIBE COMMUNITY RADIO, INC. for no consideration.
25-7 MEDIA, INC. turned in its licenses for KLMR-A and KLMR-F/LAMAR, CO after a storm destroyed the stations' facilities. The letter filed by the licensee said that the facilities were lost on JULY 23rd and operation continued from temporary office space until SEPTEMBER 21st.
Requesting Silent STAs were 97.5 LICENSEE TX, LLC's KQBU-A/EL PASO (lost tower site); BIBLE BROADCASTING NETWORK, INC.'s WYHX/INDIANAPOLIS (went silent as part of conversion to noncommercial and changes to technical facilities); BROADCAST LEARNING CENTER, INC.'s W237EH/PENNSAUKEN, NJ (lost permission to rebroadcast WJFP-A/CHESTER, PA); UNITY BROADCASTING LLC's WQBQ-A-W236DN/LEESBURG, FL (lightning strike); and HISPANIC FAMILY CHRISTIAN NETWORK, INC.'s KZOB/O'BRIEN, TX (lost tower site due to financial difficulties) and KJDA-LD/SHERMAN, TX, K233CU/STOCKTON, CA, K247BX/GRASS VALLEY, CA, and K278CA/EL DORADO HILLS, CA (financial difficulties). Filing notices of suspension of operations were BETHESDA CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING KTPT/RAPID CITY, SD (equipment failure) and the TOWN OF MONROE, CT (W209CJ/MONROE, CT, transmitter failure).
